The second generation of the Chevrolet Corvette (1963 -1967) distinctly dif-fers from the previous one. Inspired by the shape of a sting ray, Bill Mitchell completely re-styled the entire car. The vehicle now offers much better ac-commodation facilities for both the driver and co-driver and - for the very first time - real sports car qualities as well. One of the most powerful of the seven engines on offer in 1967 is the L-71 big-block engine which is precisely reproduced on a scale of 1:24. But the second Corvette generation is charac-terized above all by the aggressive bodywork, featuring profile humps on both the front and rear wheels, all of which are authentically represented in the 122-part model kit. Equipped with turning wheels and a moveable bon-net, the model can be built with or without top, just as you like.
