The Marder (Marden) has been for 40 years the main combat vehicle of the German Panzergrenadiere. Constant improvements have kept it up to date with the Bundeswehr requirements. The latest version, Marder 1 A5, includes a protection against nearly all existing antitank mines. The armament includes a 20 mm quick firing gun, an MG3 machine gun under turret and a Milan anti-tank guided missile launcher. The rear door gives access to up to 6 panzergrenadiere. Our model includes all the outer modifications added up to 2002 with Marder 1 A5: new track skirts, new rolling gear, wider tracks, additional storage bins and an additional armoured bottom. The internal setup has been reconfigured to improve blast protection. The Marder 1 A5 has been used with success in occasion of international conflicts such as KFOR (Kosovo) and ISAF (Afghanistan). The decal sheet includes schemes for both configurations.
