Arguably one of the greatest names in British commercial road transport, Scammell’s history dates back to the Victorian era when a wheelwright named, George Scammell of Spitfields London built his business building and repairing small carts and vans.
By the outbreak of war in 1914 it was recognised that mechanical road transport was the way forward. The Handyman was often used for carrying large building materials, sheeted loads and containers.
The Corgi Trackside collection features a great selection on die-cast road transport vehicles with authentic liveries ideal for both the 1:76 scale collector and the OO railway modeller. The Trackside range is the perfect accessory for a railway layout or a themed diorama.
The Trackside range includes cars, vans, trucks, emergency services and themed sets. Brand new to Corgi Trackside is a range of construction vehicles and cranes.
