The Uniroyal Fun Cup allows non-professional sports car drivers to achieve their ambition to participate in recognised races with clearly defined and relatively low costs. The difference: all Fun Cup Cars are built in Belgium to the same specification. There are no technical differences between these thoroughbred racing cars. It's therefore the talent and ability of the individual driver that counts. The Fun Cup has already established itself in Great Britain, France, Italy and Belgium and is currently finding more and more enthusiasts in Germany. Since 1998 Uniroyal has been the partner and tyre supplier for this racing sportseries with cars capable of speeds up to 205 km/h. In 2005, the car of "The Cats" team with the starting number 98 came 19th in the overall placings out of a total of 160 drivers on the starting grid. The best result was 6th place achieved during the 4-hour race in Varano. In 2005, the Fun Cup Car in this decoration was piloted by the racing drivers Gianni Alberto Caimi, Gianni Pedon, Matteo Pedon and Paolo Capelli.
